Emotional Wellbeing

Becoming a mother fundamentally changes us and that change is not easy.
After having your baby, whether in that first year or years down the line, we experience the whole range of emotions from elation to grief and everything in between.

01

If you are feeling down, not yourself, or are struggling with your emotions since having your child, please speak to your midwife or GP who may offer advice, medication or counselling.

02

If this isn’t an option for you for whatever reason you can self-refer for counselling sessions & other help via IAPT (Improving Access to Psychological Treatments)
